Current Fishing Report

Posted on: August 8th, 2011 by

Hello Sportsman’s Paradise Fly Fishing Members and guests:

Fishing has been great at the ranch. This is the fishing report for Feb 10, 2012.  The weather has been a little different this year without a lot of snow. The fish are already coming up to midges in the middle of the day, Some good flies to use if you are wanting to use dry flies are a Parachute Adams size 18, or a griffith’s gnat in size 18. The best time is between 11am and 4pm for drys. The best flies for sub-surface are the prince nymphs in size 14, 16 in bead head or without. Followed by olive wooly buggers size 8 and 10. The water does get a little off color in the afternoon because of snow melt but not bad. Anyway give a call and get fishing
