Dove Shoot with Steak Dinner

The Dove Shoot will be held on the opening day of the dove season.  Information will be mailed out the month before the shoot to remind members who would like to participate.  Cost is $75 per person, which includes lunch.  If a cold snap hits before the dove hunt and dove numbers are down, we will release chukars to ensure a good hunt.  You will need a Utah small game license along with your h.i.p. number to hunt migratory birds.  Licenses will be checked before hunters enter the field.

Longest Tail Feather Contest

The “longest tail feather contest” will be held Saturday, November 8, 2003.  Cost to members is $75 and 3 birds from members account (lunch included).  Non-members cost is $125 per person.  Birds will be banded and randomly released into hunting units and a drawing will be held for hunters who bring bands back.  After lunch, bands will be drawn from a hat and consolation prizes awarded.  Prizes will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners for the longest tail.  Details on prizes and a reminder will be mailed out October 1^st.

Annual Fly-Fishing Members Dinner

Starting this year we will begin an annual member’s dinner meeting, at no charge, in an effort to gain insight as to what the members would like to have available on the Ranch.  This also enables the members to meet each other and enjoy one another’s company.
